Northwoods candles are some of our most popular items here at the Gualala Nursery and Trading Company. In fact, they are the most difficult product to keep in stock because our customers love them so much! Northwoods candles are perfect as gifts for special occasions, from housewarmings and holidays to weddings and showers. They also make great decorations for the home or the office.

The Northwoods candles that we carry are four inches by four inches in size. These are hand-poured, frosted pillars that are made in the USA. All of these hand-made candles are elegantly wrapped with a name label and tied with a lovely ribbon. Plus, with their exquisite packaging, no gift wrapping is required!

Northwoods candles are heavily scented with different delicious fragrance options. Each candle burns up to 250 hours! We carry over 50 different candle fragrances and each candle is colored and decorated to match its fragrance. Some popular options include Baked Apple Pie, Banana Nut Bread, Cinnamon Stick, Raspberry Sherbet, Tropical Grapefruit, and Grandma's Sugar Cookies. Many candles are appropriate for holidays as well, such as Candy Cane, Cranberry Frost, Iced Ginger Bread, Pumpkin Pie, and Roasting Chestnuts, all of which are amazingly rich and warm scents.

Most of the fragrances represent your favorite treats, but some feature woodsy or outdoor scents for a fresh feel. Outdoor scent options include Woodlands Wisteria, Wood Hyacinth, White Birch and Daisy, Sweet Grass, Springtime Lilac, Graceful Gardenia, and Eucalyptus Leaves.
